Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to assist you in your aim to live with better vision. It is important to understand the treatment process. In the beginning you will be receiving treatments more intensively, helping you to gain vision. At some point you will be receiving treatments sufficient to maintain your vision.
- The treatments are not a "one-time" thing. They are part of a "process" that will help you gain vision over time. We cannot make your vision problem go away in one week. Give it time; look for a steady improvement.
- Most patients will reach a plateau, at which point you will receive treatments sufficient to maintain that level of vision. Until you reach that plateau you may need to be treated one to two weeks a year, depending on how much vision loss you had when you first came to Arkansas Acupuncture Center, and how quickly you are losing vision between treatments.
YOU are the most qualified to determine when you are losing vision. If you notice a diminishment, call us to set-up an appointment so we can help you maintain a steady improvement.
Please review the packet you received during your initial consultation. About once a month you will want to test your visual acuity with the eye chart. Also, read over the information regarding nutrition beneficial to the eyes, those specific to your eye condition, and pay attention the the things that you should avoid. Following a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a positive attitude will help you hold your vision between treatments.
